Happy New Year // Wrapping up 2012

I can’t believe the holidays have come and gone, and it’s already the middle of January! I’ve spent the last couple of weeks going through images from my 2012 season, and I’m blown away by the love and support of all my clients, friends, and family. I had my busiest season yet, and I couldn’t be more thankful! I know I say this all the time, but I wouldn’t be where I am with out all of your continued support, kind words, referrals, and friendship. THANK YOU!!!

I feel that every time the new year comes, we all make new goals and resolutions in our personal lives as well as in our businesses. Mine seem to be the same every year…get in shape, eat healthier, blog more, edit faster, spend more time with friends and family, etc. I’ve decided that this year my goal is this…enjoy life and all it has to offer. This last year has taught me so much, not only about myself, but my photography as well. Sometimes I get so wrapped up and stressed out with life and work, that I forget the important things. I forget to smile and laugh. I forget to be thankful for all that I have, instead of wishing for things that I don’t. I forget to make time for my loved ones. I forget that I do have a life outside of my computer and work. I just forget, and life is too short for that. There is a wonderful world out there full of excitement and joy, and I plan to enjoy it to the fullest this year. As many of you already know, I am moving to Colorado in June. This is a whole new adventure for me that is both exciting and terrifying! It’s also bittersweet. I love Montana, and I have met so many great people here over the last 10 years, but I am ready for something new and different. I hate to sound cheesy, but I need to get out of my comfort zone and “spread my wings”. I’m anxious to see what lies ahead on my new journey! So here’s to a new year and new beginnings!!! CHEERS!
