Emma & Chris : Bridger Bowl Wedding

I have to apologize for the lack of blog posts…I’m in never ending wedding post production!  Hang in there because I’ve got a lot of fun stuff coming!

I also have to tell you that I was so excited for this wedding.  A while back, Emma called me out of the blue and we instantly clicked on the phone.  She hired me after talking to me for about a minute!  I was so ecstatic.  Then she gave me the good stuff…the groom would be skydiving into their ceremony…yes I said SKYDIVING!  I couldn’t wait to see this.  Emma and Chris were married July 31, 2010 at Bridger Bowl’s Deer Park Chalet.  Emma had booked me for some extra hours, so I got the privilege of hanging out with her and her two bridesmaids all morning while they got ready.  They were all so laid back and hilarious!  I kept laughing so hard with all of them that my stomach was sore.  Then we headed up the mountain.  No one except a select few knew that Chris was skydiving that day, so when the helicopter flew over there were many confused faces.  Then out jumps two guys!  Everyone was so excited and surprised.  Unfortunately, there was quite a storm blowing in and they didn’t land where they were supposed to (they were actually about a mile away), but it made for an exciting entrance.  Chris finally made it to the ceremony, threw on his suit jacket and was ready to roll.  True to Montana style, about ten minutes after the ceremony, it started pouring rain…actually it dumped buckets of rain!  Eventually it blew over, and allowed for some amazing portraits.  Emma and Chris…you are truly amazing, and thank you so much for letting me be a part of such a special day!
