Graduation Celebration!

So I need to apologize for being a blogging slacker…AGAIN!  But…I have a good excuse 🙂  My little sister, Richelle, graduated from Montana State University!  I was so busy cleaning the house and preparing food for the big celebration that I put all blogging activity on hold.  This also continued into the weeks following her graduation, because we were helping her move out of our house and to Spokane, WA.  I’ve been so busy getting the house organized and cleaned up after all that, and now I’m finally getting caught up.  Can you tell that I clean a lot?  My family thinks I have an obsession.  Anyway, I couldn’t be more proud of my sister.  She has come so far and fought so hard for this, and she deserves all the glory and happiness that comes with it.  I just can’t believe how fast time flies.  We’ve been through so much together…laughing until our stomach hurts, fighting over the stupidest things, crying on each others shoulders until our eyes are swollen, holding each others hands through some tough family situations, constantly moving in and out of each other’s lives, Kurt and I having to be ‘Mom and Dad’…then BAM!  One day she’s all grown up.  My sister and I haven’t always been the best of friends, or the best of sisters for that matter, but I love her more than words can say and I will love her forever no matter what happens.  Richelle…thank you for teaching me patience, thank you for not giving up, thank you for believing in me as I believe in you, and most of all, thank you for being you!  We are so proud of you and I know that the future holds great things for you!  Keep being the ‘biscuit’ you are, and nothing will stand in the way of your dreams…CONGRATS! XOXO

Here is a picture from graduation day of Richelle with Kurt and I, and a picture that I took of her for her graduation announcements…isn’t she BEAUTIFUL?!
